"Nature creates us with
logic and emotions.
Life requires a response from one or the other.
Three-Word Meditation brings balance to both."
About Three-Word Meditation:
Long before the time of the Gnostic Gospels (1st to 4th Century CE), humanity has sought self-knowledge by looking to the power of enlightenment through the use of God’s Love within. Now, author Robert Felix shows us the way to align our internal truths with the new global reality of the 21st Century.
An historical oversight of Western traditions, Felix maintains, is that they teach us how to talk to God without teaching the equally important skill of how to listen to God. With Three-Word Meditation we see how to create partnerships between Western-style introspection and Eastern meditation. He begins by showing us how to use the power of targeted introspection for understanding and forgiveness. Next, we see how a meditation practice extends that love to others. Together, they help us to find the proper balance between what is right for ourselves and what is right for the rest of our world.
It is by understanding ourselves, Felix makes clear, that we spark the energy of an unconditional love that helps us find new, creative solutions to the concerns and goals we face. With this work, Felix demonstrates the innovative techniques to unlock that energy, inspiring a global awareness to see our life as one, with a single home to share.

Introduction
In a series of stunning breakthroughs, Western science has recently confirmed that introspection and meditation can transform negative behaviors into positive energy and emotions. When used together, they are especially useful in altering our basic inherited and learned mental habits. Now, with these new studies, scientists can join with those whose faith and culture has already confirmed the healing power of the Divine.
Through the use of powerful Electroencephalograph (EEG) machines, functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), and Positron Emission Tomography (PET scans), scientists have found that introspection and meditation increases the activity in the left pre-frontal lobe of our brain where the feelings of peace, happiness and compassion reside. It has also been shown that they decrease the activity in the centers of the brain where the negative feelings of hatred, fear, anxiety, and depression are located. As a result, scientists have determined that even though the "mind" is different from the "brain," they are just like the rest of the human body; they can both be willfully improved for the better.
The Three-Word Meditation technique is a new tool that combines the energizing power of introspection with the powerful calming effect of meditation. Users of this method have found that it opens them up to the creative dynamics of partnerships between "active" introspection and "passive" meditation. By bringing these abilities together, you create a partnership between the brain and mind that invites the guidance of God’s Pure Love.
Unlike any meditation practice you have seen before, this approach is not designed to put you into a trance-like state. The first step is to relax your body so that you become sensitive to the various strengths and weaknesses of your unique personal experiences. Next, you use guided introspection to look at all of the pros and cons of the opposing aspects of your mind. The dualities of your logic and emotions are but one example. This further enables you to explore the differences between your past and present, the separation between your private and social lives, and your realities and ideals.
These "dualities" are traditionally regarded as opposing energies, the classic dualities so deeply rooted in spiritual writings, myths, and theory. They represent the contrasting aspects of human nature that need to be brought together for better balance, health, and creativity. After you discover your unique conflicts and goals, then you enter into the next step by meditating with this three-word meditation technique. This is where a powerful trinity of higher powers is released that unites your own dual energies with Divine Love. Insights and resolutions come in the form of answers that could not be seen before.
As the developer of this method, I am honored to share this technique with anyone that wants to improve their life and share their love with others. They are flexible enough to be adapted to the unique needs of every user. And once you begin to use them you will find that they can be easily adapted to help you organize and prioritize your life. They can address the concerns and goals that require solving problems, making decisions, or seeking new solutions.
Some of the three-word meditations use the colors of the rainbow to help you with the management of your physical, logical, emotional, and spiritual energies. Others use a pure white light that helps you grow closer to all of the Divine Love and Logic of the universe. All use your personal and creative instincts, innovations, intuitions, and inspirations that help you go forward with your life. The results will be a "partnership of equals" between your unique personality and the ultimate power of God’s Pure Love.

USING "THREE WORD MEDITATION" FOR PERSONAL GROWTH Excerpts from a book by Robert C. Felix © 2008 Once, people believed that they existed in a world closely connected to the Divine. When individuals, whether they were kings, queens, shamans or shepherds, were confused by a dilemma, a God would appear and speak to them. Our literature is one long testament to this connection between gods and man. From Homer’s Iliad to Judaism’s Torah, down to St. Paul on the road to Damascus, the historical record of humanity is one long conversation between the human and the Divine. Today, however, few of us feel so strongly connected to a power greater than our own. Our modern world hums along with high technology, space flights, complex issues of government, and the fierce competition that exists between all citizens to prosper. No wonder many people today read the stories of that earlier age as fables. Although most of us continue to believe in some form of God, many of us consider the prospect of any contact with God as the delusion of some private individuals’ wish. But it is a sad mistake to believe that humanity is alone in the universe. Whenever we limit ourselves to the reality of our “human” powers, we restrict ourselves to the unique inherited skills of our physical, logical, emotional, and cultural heritages. But if we make the choice to develop our “higher” powers, we open ourselves up to a powerful energy, a love that stimulates new awareness, ideals, compassion and respect. And, with commitment, we will find a place within ourselves to discover the incredible prosperity of Pure Love, our “highest” powers. From this energy we find new and better Instincts from our Bodies, Innovations from our Minds, Intuitions from our Hearts, and Inspirations from our Souls. As we bring more Divine Love into our lives, we magnify our sense of feeling loved. We expand the excitement and joy of being truly alive. We become empowered to love and act in the spirit of good will for ourselves and for all. The Divine is still with us and touches our everyday lives. In the words of 14th century Florentine poet Dante Alighieri, “God is the love that moves the sun and all the stars.” We need only to seek it and listen, to pray and to meditate.
